Fox News Panel Melts Down After Democrat Strategist Calls Russia Intel ‘Erroneous’

Fox News’ “The Five” panel members erupted Thursday as Kellyanne Conway and Jesse Watters pushed back on co-host and Democrat strategist Jessica Tarlov after she called newly declassified documents on Russiagate “erroneous.”

Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard announced the first release of declassified documents regarding the 2016 allegations against President Donald Trump’s first campaign. Those documents alleged that Trump colluded with Russia to sway the election in his favor. While discussing the additional reports being released, Watters asked Tarlov if she had read the report “Tulsi dropped.”

“I did not read all 200 pages,” Tarlov responded.

“Well, it wasn’t 200 pages, it was 44,” Watters said. “That’s why I read them, because it wasn’t 200 pages. Did you know that the assessment said that Putin wanted Trump to win, Putin tried to help Trump win, Putin had blackmail on Trump, and that Putin tried colluding with the Trump campaign? All of those things were erroneous, and they cooked the intelligence.”

Tarlov pushed back and said that Russian President Vladimir Putin “wanted Trump to win” the 2016 election against then-Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Watters again asked Tarlov if she had read the report, saying that if she had she “would have known that Putin had no preference who won.” Tarlov said Watter’s argument “has nothing to do” with her claim. (RELATED: Deep State Buried Evidence Russia Did Not Want Trump To Beat Hillary In 2016)

“Well, that’s one of the main points in the report,” Watters said.

“The report is erroneous,” Tarlov said.

Allegations of collusion between Russia and Trump’s first campaign began to circulate at the start of his first administration, with the infamous Steele dossier later becoming the roadmap for the investigation.

Along with the initial declassified document, Gabbard released a memo saying the agency found that Obama’s DNI James Clapper and the Department of Homeland Security withheld an FBI and NSA press release issued just weeks before the 2016 election, which said they had “low confidence” in Russia’s role in the data leaks.

The release of the documents came shortly after reports began to circulate that former FBI Director James Comey and former CIA Director John Brennan were under criminal investigation for potential wrongdoing related to the infamous Steele dossier.

The two intelligence officials, during the height of the Russiagate hoax, were vocal about the allegations. Brennan allegedly ignored an email from the then-CIA deputy director warning about the consequences of including the Steele dossier in their 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment.

“No, Jessica, I’m sick of it. We spent years, six figures worth of legal bills for low-level staffers,” Conway said as Tarlov began to cut in.

“You’re saying that Putin didn’t, that the intel, that our intel community and the rest of the world — ” Tarlov began to ask before Conway cut her off.

Conway and Tarlov argued back and forth over Trump’s and Putin’s past comments about one another.

“No, no, no. Excuse me, the media needs to own up to being part of this lie for years. Excuse me, 2,000 minutes, that is two days out of a human being’s life, just in coverage of this thing called Russian collusion, which wasn’t true,” Conway said.

Tarlov went on to point to the 2019 Mueller report, defending it after Conway called it “a joke” with Watters yelling that there had been “interference” and “collusion.”

“I think that people who said there was collusion, which is a made-up term anyway, should rewrite —” Tarlov said before Conway jumped in.

“No, no, no. I wasn’t talking to people in Moscow,” Conway said. “I was talking to people in Macomb County, Michigan, in Mecklenburg County, in North Carolina. That’s how he won. He won because Hillary was a flawed candidate, and every time you guys have a shitty candidate, you do all these shenanigans to try to stop Trump. I’m sick of it.”

Gabbard referred former President Barack Obama to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for criminal charges on Wednesday.
