Who needs morons fighting at stadiums when you have giant elk brawlin’ it out?!
If you pay attention to my blog, you know how dangerous nature can be. I cover a ton of animal content, I cover extreme weather from time to time, if you read my stuff, you already know how things can get in the world out there. And as a nature enthusiast, I absolutely love it! (RELATED: Never-Before-Seen Orange Shark Discovered By Anglers In Costa Rica)
The video that I have for you today is from Instagram page @goodbullguided, who posted footage of two gargantuan elk who had one hell of a clash by smashing their antlers against one another. In fact, they were going at it so hard that a piece of one of the elk’s antlers snapped off like a twig.
It’s being speculated by Whiskey Riff that the brawl popped off at Estes Park, Colorado.

As I’m sitting here writing about this elk fight, I’ve been flipping back and forth between Fox Weather and The Weather Channel watching Hurricane Erin coverage, and I’m just sitting here thinking … damn, nature really is incredible.
My only regret with my modern-day enthusiasm is that I didn’t get into it earlier.
With this elk fight in particular, my biggest takeaway is how a problem is settled in the animal kingdom, yet us human beings will cry about not being able to reach the remote control.
This is why I like nature though, makes our little problems turn into non-problems.
