LMAO … I can’t believe I’m raising girls in this world.
Lisa Buckwitz, a bobsledder for Germany who won a gold medal at the 2018 Games, is bound for the Olympics. And she’s giving all the thanks to, believe it or not, OnlyFans. (RELATED: Former NFL Star Vernon Davis Allegedly Assaults Woman During Abortion Argument: REPORT)
Speaking recently in an interview, Buckwitz revealed that signing up for the “subscription-based platform” (let’s be honest here, it’s a porn site) gave her the funding to cement her going to the 2026 Winter Games in Italy. They kick off in early February.
“It’s also a stroke of luck for me, as it allows me to finance my team,” said Buckwitz, per the German media outlet Bild, also saying, “It’s the best thing that could have happened to me.”
Back in Nov. 2024, Buckwitz made the announcement that she was transitioning her brand to become an OnlyFans athlete. Currently, she has multiple subscriptions that you can purchase, offering a three-month package ($59.98), a six-month package ($97.46) and a 12-month package ($194.92).
“This partnership is all about sharing the heart and hustle behind my bobsleigh journey — showing you the grit, the goals, and everything in between. From intense training days to the exhilaration on race day, I’m inviting you behind the scenes to experience what it truly takes to push limits at the highest level,” wrote Buckwitz at the time on Instagram.
Despite the money rolling in, however, the 31-year-old did acknowledge that there’s a dark side to being on OnlyFans.
“It’s a bit sad that I can’t just focus on my competitive sport,” said Buckwitz. “Sure, I’m an Olympic champion. But nobody’s interested in Lisa Buckwitz just because of the gold medal. That’s unfortunately the downside.”
According to Buckwitz per Bild, a season in bobsled can tally over $59,000 (or for her, 50,000 euros), highlighting that equipment, training camp, planet tickets and pusher bonuses can be expensive. An ex-Playboy Germany cover model, Buckwitz won a gold medal while making her Games debut in the 2018 Olympics. The event she won at PyeongChang was the two-woman bobsled. She didn’t medal in 2022 at the Beijing Games, recording a fourth-place finish, which also came in the two-woman bobsled.
Call me crazy, but ol’ girl doesn’t even look that good … says a lot about what men are simping over these days. Ew. Just saying.
