Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was seriously injured in a car accident Aug. 30 in New Hampshire, according to a statement from his spokesman Michael Ragusa.
Ragusa posted on X that Giuliani stopped to assist a woman who was a victim of domestic violence. After ensuring her safety and contacting emergency services, Giuliani returned to his vehicle. While he was in his car, it was struck from behind at high speed.
“This was not a targeted attack,” Ragusa said. “We ask everyone to respect Mayor Giuliani’s privacy and recovery, and refrain from spreading unfounded conspiracy theories.” (RELATED: Liberal Media Completely Ignores Illegal Truck Driver’s Deadly U-Turn)

“He was in a rent a car, no one knew it was him,” Ragusa added.
Ragusa told the New York Post that the former mayor is recovering and in high spirits.
“He’s a beast. He survived 9/11,” Ragusa said.
Giuliani, who served as mayor from 1994 to 2001, will stay in the Manchester-area hospital for another two or three days and then wear a brace for the broken vertebrae.
Giuliani’s business partner, Maria Ryan, who also happens to be a nurse, is helping to oversee his care.
“He’s getting further tests and stabilization of his injuries,” she told The Post.
