Federal Judge Moves to Keep Violent Illegal Alien Gangbangers in the U.S. [WATCH]

Rep. Mike Collins, a Republican from Georgia, publicly called out Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., over his advocacy for an El Salvadorian national who was identified as an MS-13 gang member and deported from the United States.

The confrontation, which unfolded on social media, comes amid growing Republican criticism of Democrat lawmakers who they say prioritize illegal immigrants over American citizens.

In a post shared on X, Collins posted a photo showing the office plaque outside Van Hollen’s Capitol Hill office, altered to read that the Maryland senator represents “El Salvador.”

“Hey [Sen. Van Hollen], I went ahead and changed your office plaque for you,” Collins wrote in the caption.

The stunt came in response to Van Hollen’s decision to travel to El Salvador and meet with Kilmar Abrego-Garcia, an illegal immigrant who was deported in March.

Abrego-Garcia had been living in Maryland despite a final deportation order issued in 2019 and was identified by law enforcement as a member of the violent MS-13 gang.

Collins, who has repeatedly criticized Van Hollen for his involvement in the case, previously wrote on X, “If you’re going to advocate harder for illegal gang members than you do American citizens, don’t come back.”

In another post, Collins referred to Van Hollen as “traitorous.”

Abrego-Garcia entered the United States illegally in 2011.

Despite a deportation order issued eight years later, he remained in the country until federal authorities apprehended and deported him earlier this year.

His removal drew backlash from Democrat officials who claimed that his rights were violated and described him as a productive resident of Maryland.

However, law enforcement records present a different picture.

In 2019, the Prince George’s County Police Gang Unit identified Abrego-Garcia as a known MS-13 member.

That same year, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) also linked him to suspected human trafficking activity.

A December 2022 HSI report detailed a traffic stop involving Abrego-Garcia in Tennessee.

According to the report, a Tennessee Highway Patrol officer pulled him over for speeding.

Inside the vehicle were eight passengers with no luggage.

Abrego-Garcia told the officer he had picked them up in Houston and was transporting them to Temple Hills, Maryland, for construction work.

The report notes that all passengers gave the same home address as Abrego-Garcia.

The officer suspected the situation was a human trafficking case.

Republicans have pointed to the incident as an example of lax immigration enforcement and misplaced priorities by Democrat lawmakers.

Adding to the controversy, President Donald Trump hosted Maryland resident Patty Morin at the White House last week.

Morin’s daughter, Rachel, was murdered in 2023 by an illegal alien from El Salvador. Authorities reported that Rachel Morin was beaten, raped, and killed in a violent attack that stunned the community.

Morin’s mother has since become an advocate for stronger border enforcement and harsher penalties for illegal immigrants involved in violent crimes.

Patty Morin also said that Sen. Van Hollen never reached out to her following her daughter’s murder.

While Van Hollen has not publicly addressed Collins’ accusations or the altered nameplate, the dispute underscores the larger political clash over border security, immigration enforcement, and the handling of known gang members residing illegally in the United States.
