Hacks Warned Off Bonking In Podcast Studios by Mail Legend Lord Rothermere

Last week Popbitch muck raked news of some alleged illicit activity at the DMG Media podcast studios – where the Daily Mail records most of its podcast series:

“Podcasting. The sexiest gig in all of media. At least, that’s the case over in Kensington, where rumour has it two staffers were recently caught with their pants down in one of DMGT’s podcast rooms. The pair allegedly went in for a frisky touch-and-feel session in the studio – without realising the room’s mics were constantly recording.”

DMG’s impressive podcast operation has grown rapidly since the summer of 2023. Guido hears the rumour of close relations has caused quite a stir in a large WhatsApp group of UK media stars and executives. Featuring among others: Sarah Vine, Piers Morgan, Rachel Johnson, Michael Gove and Lord and Lady Rothermere…

After members exchanged cracks about “breakfast sausage” Piers Morgan jokily asked for CCTV of the event for his Uncensored show. DMG Media supremo Lord Rothermere then joined in:

“I actually do think Jamie should monitor the podcast room – it’s not The Times.”

Too good, raises an interesting point about the paper of record…
