Here’s the WILD and sickening scandal implicating top NY officials you likely haven’t heard of

Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) chairman Matthew Bruderman was suspiciously fired just hours after burglars broke into his home and stole documents related to a federal probe of New York officials.

It’s a complicated story, so strap in …

The story begins around the start of the month, when the New York Post reported that the FBI had begun looking into bombshell allegations that top New York and Long Island officials had schemed to shut down NUMC by stealthily robbing it of its money over the years.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has been implicated in this as well:

The allegations were made by none other than Bruderman.

“Bruderman said he believes the officials’ ultimate goal was to financially strangle the public hospital, paving the way for state and local leaders to shut it down, take over the land currently owned by the public-benefit corporation that runs it and have it redeveloped for profit,” the Post reported at the time.

“It is a fact that New York state did not pay their share of the money owed [to keep the hospital running],” Bruderman told the Post. “And now I’m going to prove it. I have every bank account, document, transfer, everything.”

Now, flash forward to this week, when the Post broke the news that Bruderman’s Oyster Bay home was burglarized Wednesday night and that the thieves only stole documents — namely, his documents concerning the NUMC scandal.

The only good news is that the stolen documents were reportedly later recovered by the police, though they abstained from providing any extra information, including details on potential arrests.

Also, Bruderman wasn’t home when the burglary occurred. In fact, he only learned of the burglary when the police called him to let him know they’d found a binder with his name on it in a car that’d reportedly been driven by an unidentified couple.

“I was confused because that was the binder I had on my desk when I left,” he told the Post, adding that it contained “sensitive” materials related to the FBI’s ongoing probe.

Here’s where the story gets even wilder: Hours after his home was burglarized, Bruderman was fired from his post by Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, despite Blakeman having previously said he believed Bruderman’s bombshell allegations.

In fact, Blakeman even met with FBI Director Kash Patel earlier this month in an effort to help launch the aforementioned probe.

Nowhere in his termination letter to Bruderman did Blakeman explain his reasoning. Look:

“This letter serves as formal notice that your appointment as Chairman of the Nassau Health Care Corporation is hereby terminated, effective immediately,” the letter reads. “We thank you for your time and contributions in this role and wish you the best in your future endeavors.”

Bruderman told the Post he believes all this is happening chiefly because of one person: Hochul, a rabid Democrat.

“I was told if I didn’t resign today, like a coward, I would be removed,” he said. “I was told Kathy Hochul wanted my head for exposing the corruption and previously supporting Lee Zeldin.”

“I was told I don’t understand how powerful these people are and the lengths they would go to hurt me. I refused to resign and they had no choice but to remove me. I fixed the hospital and exposed corruption and people buckled under the pressure,” he added.

He wasn’t wrong. Under his leadership, the hospital was reportedly on track to profit $11 million this year despite having been nearly $200 million in debt just two years ago.

“I will shift my focus towards protecting the hospital, its staff and patients from afar,” Bruderman continued. “I will see that those responsible for corruption are held accountable and I will make sure it is there for generations to come.”
