Historic photos and artefacts displayed at Brixton Chapel anniversary services

On 28 June the church at Brixton Tabernacle marked the 50th anniversary of the move into our hexagonal chapel.

It was a remarkably easy move back in 1975. Most things could literally be carried across the road as the sites were diagonally opposite each other.

Only my uncle, Ian Humphrey, and I still remember the huge old chapel. In the intervening years, many others have come and gone.
