House Dems whine about cost of Trump pardons, but crickets for human pardon machine Biden

House Democrats are vilifying President Donald Trump regarding an alleged pardon expense of $1.3 billion, while simultaneously showing a lack of interest in the actions of then-President Joe Biden concerning his “tax-cheating son.”

Selective outrage skyrocketed to new heights this week when the House Judiciary Committee’s ranking member, Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin, released a new report. Composed by Democratic staff, the congressman referenced the 10-page document as he accused the president of “stealing from victims to give to criminals.”

“Our analysis shows that Trump’s criminal pardon spree is, in addition to everything else, an astonishing giveaway to lawbreakers to keep the money they stole from their employees, their investors, and all the American taxpayers,” read a statement from Raskin. “Whoever said crime doesn’t pay has certainly not studied the Trump Administration.”

The ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee went on to share the report that smeared those pardoned as “criminals” despite many of the Jan. 6 defendants never having been convicted. “Trump’s pardons of white-collar fraudsters, GOP ripoff artists & unrepentant cop-beaters cheated the victims & taxpayers out of $1.3 BILLION in restitution & fines. Not content to steal from the poor to give to the rich, Trump’s now stealing from victims to give to criminals.”

Using the 1,500 J6 cases to inflate the numbers, categorizing them all as “felons,” the report factored the $2.6 million that had been owed in those cases on top of other fines and orders for restitution that were calculated in Trump’s pardons and commutations.

Those included $680 million owed in restitution from Trevor Milton, the founder of the bankrupt electric truck company Nikola, $84 million owed by convicted fraudster Jason Galanis and over $22 million owed by Todd and Julie Chrisley, who had been convicted of tax evasion and defrauding banks.

“Whoever said crime doesn’t pay clearly never lived under a Trump presidency,” asserted Raskin.

Reacting to the report from Democrats, White House spokesman Harrison Fields slammed the party that had remained “conveniently silent when ‘Pay Your Fair Share’ Biden pardoned his tax-cheating son, and they have no standing to cry foul now.”

“President Trump is righting the wrongs of political prosecutions and providing justice after careful consideration of thoroughly vetted cases presented to him,” said the deputy press secretary. “The summer interns working for House Democrats must be busy writing and printing pointless letters that aren’t worth the paper they’re written on.”

Worth noting, while the left quibbled over little more than a billion dollars impacting the funds available through the Victims of Crime Act grants, the Democratic party and its activist proxies had spent the entirety of the president’s second administration endeavoring to obstruct efforts to slash $2 trillion in federal spending per the mission of the Department of Government Spending in addition to impeding deportation efforts seeking to remove illegal aliens draining resources as had been the case with FEMA which could have allocated funds for shelter to aid disaster victims.

Also worth noting was how Raskin himself had been offered one of Biden’s last-minute, preemptive pardons for his role in the sham Jan. 6 committee, a point social media users didn’t let slide unaddressed.
