‘I Can’t Watch This’: Candace Parker Calls Out WNBA For Demanding Big Pay Despite Terrible Play

You know the WNBA’s finest is about to be mad when they see this …

Recently on the “Post Moves” podcast, WNBA legend Candace Parker called out All-Stars for wearing t-shirts that read “Pay Us What You Owe Us,” but then when it was time to ball in the All-Star Game, they were complete poo.

Parker was speaking with Indiana Fever forward Aliyah Boston, with the two having differing opinions on the 2025 ASG. (RELATED: Brittney Griner Ejected From Game After Nearly Knocking Referee Over In WNBA Crashout)

“Y’all cannot come out there with those shirts of ‘Pay Us What You Owe Us,’ and then do that in the All-Star Game,” said Parker.

Playing in the WNBA All-Star Game only two days following back-to-back road contests against the New York Liberty and Connecticut Sun, Boston wasn’t trying to hear it.

“No, no, no, no,” responded Boston. “Here’s the thing. We come out every single night, and we show why we deserve the money we deserve. An All-Star Game — an All-Star Game where, when we have another game in two days — I think that is okay to just go out there and hoop and have some fun. Because on Tuesday, we were back at it, and we were playing, and we were showing once again why we deserve to get paid.”

The WNBA is an absolute clownshow at this point, and it kind of always has been. How does anybody take this league seriously?
