Vice President JD Vance outright dismissed criticism from Joe Biden on how the Trump administration is handling its relationship with Ukraine, reminding us that the previous administration’s foreign policy was a “total disaster.”
Appearing on Fox News’ “The Story,” Vance responded to the former president’s comments on the tense Oval Office meeting between President Donald J. Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, of which Vance was also present.
“I think it’s rich for Joe Biden to comment on anything we’re doing when it comes to Russia and Ukraine because, of course, under Biden’s administration, Russia launched the full-scale invasion of Ukraine,” the vice president told Fox News host Martha MacCallum. “So if we wanted to take advice from anybody on foreign policy, especially foreign policy in Europe, it would not be Joe Biden.”
“I wish Joe Biden the best,” he continued. “I don’t really care what he has to say about American foreign policy because so much of what he actually did was a total disaster.”

“If we just did the opposite of what Joe Biden did, I think we’d have one of the most successful foreign policy administrations in a very long time,” he added. “So he can spend his time on the beach or doing whatever Joe Biden does [and] we’ll continue trying to fix the problems he created.”
For what it’s worth, Biden has long been accused of being wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue he has faced in his long career as a politician.
After three long months of rest, Biden has been on a media tour this week — presumably to rehab his tattered image — and he blasted Trump and Vance for the infamous Feb. 28 meeting with Zelenskyy while speaking with the BBC.
“I found it beneath America, the way that took place,” said the man who was all too eager to feed the military-industrial complex throughout his one term in office.
