Popular podcaster Joe Rogan on Friday torched the Democrat Party over its rigid, “cult-like” ideology and said he wants nothing to do with them.
In a rant spanning almost two minutes, Rogan noted how Republicans have become everything the Democrats used to be and represent, while the Democrats have become weird and “cultlike.”
Listen:
“The weirdest thing to me is that we’re in this complete shifting of the poles, where the Republicans now are in favor of free speech,” he began. “The Republicans want to end the wars. They want to stop contributing to foreign countries. They want comedy to be comedy again. They don’t want restrictions on people’s behavior and thinking.”
“And the Democrats have developed this sort of like cultlike idea of what everyone should accept, and what’s normal and what’s not normal, and what needs to be elevated in our population, and what needs to be ignored,” he added.
Continuing his rant, he accused modern nutjob Democrats of “ruining it for” reasonable left-wingers like him who aren’t insane.
“And it’s just like, god damn, you’re ruining it for everybody that thinks in a left way,” he said. “Like anybody who’s reasonable — like a reasonable left-thinking person, which is most artists, by the way. And then you get to this point where you’re like, ‘No, I can’t go along with you on all these things.’”
Rogan also slammed the Democrats for being full-throated proponents of a particularly nasty form of cancel culture that permits treating those who’ve sinned against the mob like they’re nothing but trash.
“You’re just a bunch of f–king assholes who are using these subjects as a way where you can behave incredibly shitty, incredibly uncharitable —like, vicious, mean, ostracizing people,” he said.
Case in point:
“If you uttered the wrong pronoun, it could cost you your career.” The Democrats got caught up in a fever dream of cancel culture that alienated large swaths of independent and moderate voters. If we want to win national elections again, this shit must stop. pic.twitter.com/pWpIUVTXXi

In concluding his thoughts, the top podcaster bluntly said that he wants nothing to do with this diseased iteration of the Democrat Party.
“I don’t want any part of you,” he said. “I don’t want any part of the way you guys think and behave. And to pretend that you’re doing it for good? You’re gluing yourself to the wall for climate change? The f–k you are. You’re just a nut. You’re just a crazy, entitled nut.”
“And you’re f–king up society. This is not the way that people should be behaving. … And the Republicans are smarter about it now, in this day and age, because they’re like, ‘Hey, we’ll take you in. Hey, it’s fine. Come over to us. You can say whatever you want. Comedy’s back,’” he added.
Rogan’s remarks come amid consistent polling showing that Americans are fed up and disgusted with the Democrat Party.
“It is total and complete garbage in the mind of the American public,” CNN’s Harry Enten said on Friday.

Indeed, a Puck/Echelon poll conducted in May found that most likely voters view the party as “liberal, weak, corrupt.”
A more recent poll published in late July by The Wall Street Journal found that 63 percent of voters view the Democrat Party unfavorably.
“Only 33% of voters view Democrats favorably, with just 8% expressing a ‘very favorable’ opinion,” The Fulcrum reported. “Democrats are now viewed less favorably than both President Donald Trump and the Republican Party, despite their own poor ratings.”
“Voters increasingly describe the party as ‘weak,’ ‘out of touch,’ and lacking a clear economic message,” the reporting continued.
Responding to the polling, pollster John Anzalone said, “The Democratic brand is so bad that they don’t have the credibility to be a critic of Trump or the Republican Party.”
“Until they reconnect with real voters and working people on who they’re for and what their economic message is, they’re going to have problems,” he added.
