LMAO … this is why I love Trump, he knows how to violate the opps.
When it comes to their participation in the FIFA World Cup following the joint United States-Israel strikes on Iran, the Iranian soccer federation isn’t the most enthused.
Hosted by the North American nations of the U.S., Mexico and Canada in Summer 2026, the tournament sets Iran up to begin their Group G play in June, with their games being scheduled in Los Angeles. You know, America.
With all that being said, President Donald Trump couldn’t give a damn if Iran makes the decision to withdraw from the World Cup after the blatant ass-whoopin’ they’ve been receiving. (RELATED: Israeli Racecar Driver Alon Day ‘Nervous’ While Family Rides Out Retaliatory Strikes From Iran)
“I really don’t care,” said Trump while speaking Tuesday with Politico after they questioned him regarding Iran competing in the FIFA World Cup. “I think Iran is a very badly defeated country. They’re running on fumes.”
FIFA states that they’ll be continuing to monitor things.
“What is certain is that after this attack, we cannot be expected to look forward to the World Cup with hope,” said Iranian football federation President Mehdi Taj to sports portal Varzesh3, per Fox News. “The US regime has attacked our homeland, and this is an incident that will not go unanswered.”

Damn shame we can’t get this man elected for a third term, but hey, I’ll take JD Vance or Ron DeSantis as our next president.
