ICE agents attacked by another angry mob as Dems fuel the fire

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents were attacked by leftist activists while conducting raids in Los Angeles on Friday.

During one raid, “a crowd of people tried to prevent authorities from leaving in vans after multiple [illegal aliens] were detained,” according to local station KABC.

“Protesters could be seen throwing objects at the vehicles, while others tried to block the vans from leaving. One person was nearly run over when they fell to the ground after getting in front of one of the vehicles,” the station reported:

During another raid, Service Employees International Union California president David Huerta “deliberately obstructed” ICE agents’ “access,” prompting the agents to arrest him for impeding their arrests.

“Let me be clear: I don’t care who you are—if you impede federal agents, you will be arrested and prosecuted. No one has the right to assault, obstruct, or interfere with federal authorities carrying out their duties,” U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli wrote on X after his controversial arrest.

The worst of the violence was seen after the raids, when leftist activists surrounded the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building in downtown L.A., where detained illegal aliens were reportedly being held.

“Around 6:15 p.m., several people attempted to break into the Roybal Federal building,” according to local station KTTV. “Several officers were stationed at the entrance of one of the gates, barring people from getting in.”

“Protesters were seen spray-painting profanity on the building and nearby trash cans. Officers inside the parking lot used tear gas to push the crowd away,” the report continued.

The Trump administration wasn’t pleased.

Assaulting ICE enforcement officers, slashing tires, defacing buildings,” Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin tweeted as this was happening.

“800 protestors have surrounded and breached the first layer of a federal law enforcement building in LA. @LAPD has not responded. This violence against @ICEgov must stop,” she added.

Responding to the violence, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, a Democrat, predictably chose to attack the ICE agents, not the rioters.

“We will not stand for this,” the mayor said in a statement published to X. “I am deeply angered by what has taken place. These tactics sow terror in our communities and disrupt basic principles of safety in our city.”

Her statement prompted a fierce clapback from the White House.

“You have no say in this at all,” White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller tweeted. “Federal law is supreme and federal law will be enforced.”

“They’re Illegals. Not ‘immigrants,’” White House adviser Sebastian Gorka added in his own tweet. “One just tried to burn Americans alive in Boulder. If you’re aiding and abetting them you’re a criminal too. Are you ready to be treated as a criminal? Because we are ready to treat you as one if you commit a crime.”

The protests and rioting in LA continued into the evening, even after ICE agents had already left the metropolitan area.

Bass isn’t the first leftist mayor to side with the illegals. So has Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, who recently made a big deal about ICE agents wearing masks to protect their identities, going so far as to compare them to Nazis.

Her ignorant remarks also prompted a fierce clapback:
