Democrats’ unceasing defense of criminal illegal aliens left ICE arresting a foreign national “TWICE” released from custody after an alleged vehicular homicide took a mother’s life.
In Minnesota, the “code talking” Gov. Tim Walz (D) recently reaffirmed that globalist ends justified the consequential means as he likened President Donald Trump’s mass deportation efforts to “modern-day Gestapo.”
Now, the Department of Homeland Security was slamming his “despicable rhetoric” after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement had to arrest an Ecuadoran national suspected in the death of a Minnesota mother after the county jail released him a second time in a matter of months.
“Despite a lack of cooperation from local Minnesota authorities, ICE arrested criminal illegal alien German Llangari Inga,” explained DHS Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin. “This criminal illegal alien has been evading prosecution for vehicular homicide that resulted in the death of Minnesota mom, Victoria Eileen Harwell.”
“Gov. Walz should be thanking ICE, NOT demonizing them,” asserted ICE as the agency detailed Llangari Inga’s blood alcohol level had been twice the legal limit when he was arrested Aug. 4, 2024, for criminal vehicular homicide of the mother.
Llangari Inga’s preliminary breathalyzer revealed his blood alcohol content was more than twice the legal limit for driving in Minnesota.
A test of a blood sample collected by police about 2.5 hours later found his blood alcohol content was 0.141%, still well above the legal…

Though an ICE detainer had been placed on the alien, he was by the Hennepin County Jail on Aug. 6, 2024, without notification to the agency. When another detainer was placed on him after his May 10, 2025, arrest on an outstanding warrant, Llangari Inga was once again released on May 13 without notification to ICE.
With no help from the soft-on-crime policies in Walz’s state, ICE arrested Llangari Inga on May 16.
“Despite Hennepin County refusing to honor this criminal illegal alien’s detainer TWICE, ICE officers tracked him down and removed this criminal from Minnesota’s streets,” said McLaughlin. “Tim Walz should be thanking ICE for not using despicable rhetoric. Remember, sanctuary politicians are fighting for criminal illegal aliens. President Trump and Secretary Noem are fighting for the victims of illegal alien crime, like Eileen Harwell.”
During the recent commencement address at the University of Minnesota law school, the failed vice presidential candidate had told graduates, “Donald Trump’s modern-day Gestapo is scooping folks up off the streets. They’re in unmarked vans, wearing masks, being shipped off to foreign torture dungeons — no chance to mount a defense, not even a chance to kiss a loved one goodbye, just grabbed up by masked agents, shoved into those vans, and disappeared.”
McLaughlin had already referred to Walz’s rhetoric as “sickening” when she had told Fox News co-host John Roberts, “Our ICE enforcement agents are facing [a] 400% increase in assaults, and it’s because of rhetoric like this, where he’s vilifying them. They’re just trying to keep our streets safe, John.”
Late last month, Trump signed an executive order warning so-called sanctuary cities and states that they could face funding cuts and lawsuits if they refuse to end their policies endangering American citizens.
Titled Protecting American Communities from Criminal Aliens, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt had said of the order, “It’s quite simple — obey the law, respect the law, and don’t obstruct federal immigration officials and law enforcement officials when they are simply trying to remove public safety threats from our nation’s communities.”
