Calls rang out for lawmakers in Illinois to face charges after details of doxxing federal immigration enforcement operations were distributed, “putting a target on agents’ backs …”
From sit-ins to marches and “fiery but mostly peaceful” protests, the left has a longstanding tradition of elevating and rewarding agitators and disruptors — so much so that members of the Squad had even pretended to be handcuffed. Now it seemed that state officials in the Land of Lincoln were goading Attorney General Pam Bondi to hold them accountable as they emailed constituents the makes, models, license plate numbers, and whereabouts of vehicles used toward deportation efforts.
In one such email highlighted by Libs of TikTok, Illinois State Rep. Margaret Croke (D), currently running to be the state’s comptroller, shared details about numerous vehicles said to be used by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in what the official deemed “unlawful and undemocratic actions.”
“Illinois State Rep Margaret Croke (D) just sent out an email doxxing ICE and listed their car details and license plate numbers!” wrote Libs while sharing the message beside a picture of Croke with Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker. “She’s putting a target on agents’ backs and helping illegals evade arrest. This is absolutely disgraceful. CHARGE HER.”

She’s putting a target on agents’ backs and helping illegals evade arrest.
This is absolutely disgraceful.

Similarly, the account had shared an email from Chicago Alderman Timmy Knudsen (D) outlining reported sightings of ICE operations within his Ward.
Libs detailed how he “sent out an email DOXXING ICE’s live locations to alert illegals on ICE operations. This helps illegals evade arrest and puts agents in harm’s way. Charge him.”

Democrats have spent much of the year pressing the issue of illegal immigration in furtherance of their open borders stance, from the excessive support for their so-called “Maryland Man,” Kilmar Abrego Garcia, to actively protesting and squaring up with law enforcement outside ICE facilities.
Earlier in the week, Bondi had called out the left after congressional Democrats had announced the new “ICE tracker” website to share real-time details about where immigration enforcement operations were taking place, accusing lawmakers of “trying to put ICE agents at risk just for doing their jobs.”
Later, the attorney general had announced that investigations had been opened on Pritzker, California Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D), and former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D), among others, for allegedly targeting ICE agents.
“We told them,” she explained to Fox News host Jesse Watters, “‘Preserve your emails, preserve everything you have on this topic.’ Because if you are telling people to arrest our ICE officers, our federal agents, you cannot do that. You are impeding an investigation, and we will charge them.”
Reactions to the lawmakers’ doxxing federal agents had many suggesting that Democrats were once again guilty of what they accuse Republicans of — in this case, an insurrection — as a considerable number gladly indicated they’d informed the FBI about the emails.
The American people deserve for this man to be treated like any other criminal.
That is equal application of the law.@TheJusticeDept @AGPamBondi it’s time to reckon your actions with your words.

You don’t “help the community” by outing federal agents mid-operation. That puts lives at risk plain and simple. There’s a line between politics and endangering people, and this crosses it.

If true, bravo Illinois, your representative has discovered a new civic virtue: turning law enforcement into a duck hunt. Doxxing federal agents and publishing license plates is not righteous theater, it is reckless endangerment. If she thinks politics is now about playing hide…

I just hung up with the FBI tip line. 1-800-CALL-FBI. Whenever you see something like this, please call. You can submit the tip anonymously if you so choose through a digital platform instead of talking with someone.

Arrest her…I am over the silliness. If I, just a random person did this, I’d be charged. The justice system shouldn’t care about optics.
Break the law? Go to jail. It’s simple, really.

If we could start arresting these insurrectionists, that would be great! pic.twitter.com/iLFXIvWU91
