In rush to blame job numbers on Trump, media looks past key detail that’s GREAT news for Americans

In the Democrat-media rush to blame President Donald J. Trump for Friday’s dismal jobs report, one very important detail was largely ignored, and it’s great news for American workers.

Desperate for anything to attack the president on, Democrats pounced after the July jobs report was released, stating that an underwhelming 73,000 jobs were added and dramatically revising the numbers downward for recent months. It was a report that cost the Biden-appointed Commissioner of Labor Statistics her job after Trump fired her over the “RIGGED” numbers.

But according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), native-born Americans have actually experienced job gains while illegal aliens have declined, an early testament to the effectiveness of Trump’s tough new immigration policies.

“The number of native-born Americans aged 16 and over increased between July 2024, under the Biden administration, and July 2025 by 1,998,000, an increase of 1.52 percent,” according to Fox Business.

“Simultaneously, the number of foreign-born individuals 16 and over holding jobs in the U.S. decreased by nearly half a million, 452,000, from July 2024 to the same month in 2025. The number of foreign-born jobs in the U.S. in July was 32,066,000, down from 32,518,000 in the same month last year,” the outlet reported.

The numbers were highlighted by Vice President JD Vance, who ridiculed the doomsayers who claimed that American job losses were the new normal.

Despite American job gains, it was the negative numbers in the dubious jobs report that got all the attention, even though they were put out by the same source that had previously cooked the stats to make disgraced former President Joe Biden and his ruinous economic policies look good.
