INGERSOLL: Authoritarianism? Darn Tootin’: Arrest Them All

Greetings, Dear Readers,

Gird yourselves for some rank authoritarianism because I’m coming in hot today.

ARREST THEM ALL

Comedian and popular sitcom writer Graham Linehan was arrested in Heathrow Airport on Monday. His crimes?

Yes, he was arrested for saying that deranged men invading women’s bathrooms deserved confrontation and for remarking that an immigration protest probably reeked.

He wasn’t wrong on either count; nonetheless, he was arrested in Britain.

Here in the U.S., we were not far off until Elon took over Twitter and Trump took over the White House.

It’s pretty well documented how the American left pushed ever closer to criminalizing thought, often under banners of “misinformation” or “harassment.” 

It was barely a year ago that NBC News was practically begging Biden’s FBI to raid Chaya Raichik – aka “Libs of TikTok” – for the crime of pointing out where doctors were mutilating gender-confused children, a fact resident hospitals proudly displayed publicly on their own websites.

Even before that, the ADL, several members of Congress, GLAAD, the SPLC and other far-left organizations outright argued that Tucker Carlson should be investigated and potentially arrested. Like Raichik, his crime was essentially pointing out that Democrats were on record saying they hoped unchecked immigration would turn Texas blue.

They wanted to criminalize Republicans saying true things!

Thank God Biden disintegrated and his cackling sidekick Kamala cratered the Democrat Party. Make no mistake: If Dems had retaken the White House, our ability to point out absurd truths would have crept closer to becoming an actual criminal act. It’s already a crime in Canada to “misgender” someone (which is oddly enough calling them the gender they actually are). Similarly, in much of Europe.

The last holdout is here in the good ol’ U.S. of A. And you know what I think?

We should turn the tables. We should arrest them all. 

Instead of attempting to rebut claims of authoritarianism, let’s run with them. Let our response be swift and utterly disproportionate.

In Loudoun County, the school board there voted to defy a Trump executive order, allowing mentally unwell boys and men to use the girls’ private bathroom and changing facilities.

Arrest them all. Make a big show of it, even. Haul them off.

There’s an “all-ages drag show” slated for August 8 in Minnesota. The feds should show up and arrest everyone involved. Arrest the perverts. Arrest the parents. Arrest the venue owners. Drag them out. The more screaming, the better.

Let’s look at the statute of limitations for lewd behavior in front of children. That ought to rope up a few hundred more perverts, parents and venue owners. If we review tape of recent pride marches, gosh, it could be thousands. Arrest the perverts, the parents, arrest any authorities who were there to witness and did nothing.

Let’s then move on to all the hospitals and doctors who mutilated and stunted the growth of physically healthy children under the banner of transgenderism. Arrest them too. Arrest the nurses even. The parents and legal guardians. Prosecute them. Put them in prison.

What organizations aided and abetted the violation of U.S. immigration code? What 501(c) NGOs gobbled up tax dollars to break immigration law? I don’t care if religious organizations are involved. Arrest the pastors. Arrest the “sanctuary” city officials. Arrest the business owners who are exploiting illegal labor. Let’s start raiding the ritzy homes all along the Hamptons and Martha’s Vineyard, undoubtedly the staffs there are rank with illegal labor. Arrest the homeowners. I want to bathe my ears in their panicked, snooty lamentations.

You’re a governor who declares your state a “sanctuary”? You put illegals up in old hotels on Main Street? You give minors sex-change surgeries? Arrested. States’ rights? Psssshh, whatever. Authoritarianism? Darn tootin’, and proud of it.

Let’s go even further on violent crime, cartels and gangs. Declare martial law in ZIP codes with eye-popping per-capita instances of all three. Kit up and send in the feds. Identify the culprits, drag them out in cuffs, deport them or put them behind bars.

Forget the whiny cries over “authoritarianism.” I want to see a crushing, supersonic tidal wave of comeuppance wash over the morally derelict, disgusting and depraved who are polluting America.

Unlike calling someone by their biological gender, unlike saying obviously true things about immigration, these people are actually committing actual crimes.

Bring the hammer down. Arrest them all.
