INSIDER: Soul of the Nation: Three Years Later

Monday may have been Labor Day, but it was also the third anniversary of the darkest speech ever given by an American leader in the nation’s history.

On September 1, 2022, President Joe Biden evoked imagery befitting of Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler when he stood behind a podium bearing the presidential seal, bathed in blood red lighting and flanked by two U.S. Marines, and declared the half of the country that didn’t vote for him to be enemies of the state.

Three years ago today: A stark reminder of where we were.

Hitler’s Third Reich fell far short of the thousand-year reign that he envisioned, and so did the Democratic dream of a permanent one-party rule, which, like their ideological forebears, was undone by a raving madman.

And oh, how old Joe raged on that night in Philadelphia’s historic Independence Hall with a rant right out of a 1930s German beer hall that must have had the Founding Fathers spinning in their graves, and would have made Der Führer himself proud.

“They promote authoritarian leaders, and they fan the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice, to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country,” the dementia-addled fascist said of tens of millions of Americans who voted for President Donald J. Trump in the stolen 2020 election, leaning into the fake “insurrection” of January 6, 2021, an American version of the Reichstag Fire.

Old yeller’s vicious diatribe was all the more menacing because it came at a time when he had already flexed his totalitarian muscles with the COVID mandates and while he had unleashed his personal DOJ/FBI Gestapo on Trump supporters, hundreds of who where peacefully protesting at the U.S. Capitol on the fateful day and were then hunted down like animals, given D.C. show trials and tossed into cells in a dank torture gulag where they spent four years of their lives.

It was a truly frightening moment, “The Man In The High Castle” horrifyingly come to life with the satanic splendor of a leader who has turned against his own people.

They were a “clear and present danger” to our democracy, Biden said.

But even at his most menacing, the corrupt career politician was running on fumes. His advanced senility would give way to cratering approval ratings, and Democrats temporarily deviated from their single-minded pursuit of power in perpetuity out of a desperate need for survival.

And after enduring nearly two years of his stumbles, Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama ordered the Democrats’ own night of the long knives, ensuring their own demise by scuttling the angry old demagogue in favor of DEI darling Kamala Harris who would be overwhelmingly rejected in the 2024 election, returning Trump to office and saving the American republic from what would have been a very dark future.

Biden is now gone, but his “Soul of the Nation” speech will forever live in infamy.
