INSIDER: ‘The Rock’ to reopen for business and the party of crime is not happy

Views and opinions expressed are solely those of the author.

In probably the least shocking bit of news of the week, the party of crime is vehemently opposed to the reopening of the legendary federal penitentiary at Alcatraz Island in the middle of San Francisco Bay.

This weekend, President Donald J. Trump proudly announced that he has ordered the reopening of a “substantially enlarged and rebuilt Alcatraz” as a future home for some of the worst and most violent scum in America, a domestic alternative to the tropical “paradise” of the Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (CECOT) in El Salvador that more than 200 criminal foreign gang members have been deported to, including Democrat hero Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

Closed down as a prison since 1963, Alcatraz has been the subject of lore and has been featured in many Hollywood movies including the Sean Connery-Nicholas Cage action flick “The Rock” and Clint Eastwood’s “Escape from Alcatraz,” a big screen yarn about bank robber and burglar Frank Morris who along with the Anglin brothers, disappeared from the inescapable island in 1962 and as legend has it, the only successful escape in the institution’s storied history.

“For too long, America has been plagued by vicious, violent, and repeat Criminal Offenders, the dregs of society, who will never contribute anything other than Misery and Suffering. When we were a more serious Nation, in times past, we did not hesitate to lock up the most dangerous criminals, and keep them far away from anyone they could harm. That’s the way it’s supposed to be. No longer will we tolerate these Serial Offenders who spread filth, bloodshed, and mayhem on our streets,” Trump said on Truth Social in his post announcing that Alcatraz will be back in business.

Predictably, members of the party who have demanded that Garcia and his MS-13 and Tren de Aragua homies be reimported and put back on the streets have a big problem with “The Rock” being refurbished and once again used for its original – and most useful – purpose.

One of those squawking the loudest was so-called Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, who fancies herself as the queen of San Francisco, a city that has gone from one of America’s finest to a borderline third-world sh*thole in recent decades under the one-party control of her Democrats.

Sadly, even if the prison is indeed refurbished and reopened, it likely won’t be done in time for the old hag to experience the new Alcatraz first hand, nor will Dr. Fauci, whose days are numbered like his fellow octogenarians. Both, however, could eventually wish that they were in “The Rock” instead of the pits of Hades, where they’re going.

Look for more Democrats to scream about the costs, a newly developed sudden sense of thrift after voting in unison for budget-busting legislative packages like the Joe Biden “Inflation Reduction Act,” an Orwellian-named train robbery that was rammed through Congress in 2022 without Republican support and proudly signed into law by the cadaver in chief.

More honestly, they’re just vehemently against anything that will keep violent criminals safely behind bars where they belong.

There are, however, others who will probably be above ground for the grand re-opening, including Adam Schiff and Liz Cheney, treasonous retired Gen. Mark Milley, and the lawfare thugs who all tried to overthrow the government and then cover it up by framing Trump for J6.

“Well, I guess I was supposed to be a moviemaker,” the president quipped when reporters asked him why he decided to reopen the facility on Monday.

“I think it represents something,” Trump added. “Right now, it’s a big hulk that’s sitting there rusting and rotting. … It sort of represents something that’s both horrible and beautiful, and strong and miserable. Weak. It’s got a lot of qualities that are interesting.”
