INSIDER: Trump’s greatest friends? The toxic Democrats

MAGA world erupted this week over the one-two whammy of the sudden closing of the Jeffrey Epstein case and President Donald J. Trump’s renewal of arms shipments to Ukraine.

It may be that the president’s shock moves could cost him with his devoutly loyal base, and at least one major poll shows his numbers have taken a hit over the last month, with Rasmussen showing signs of some slippage, not that significant, but worth keeping an eye on.

Granted that the DOJ findings that there was no smoking gun of an Epstein client list nor any “credible evidence” that he ran a blackmail operation was a major disappointment for the base, as was the decision to once again side with the slimy Zelenskyy, but if Trump has proven one thing over the years, it’s that he is amazingly resilient.

And he has an ace in the hole.

In order for the Democrats to capitalize on any disenchantment from MAGA voters, they would have to present a viable alternative capable of governing. And that is not going to happen anytime in the foreseeable future with the party mired in a leadership crisis, terminally toxic to the majority of Americans, and determined to quadruple down on everything that led to their ass-whipping in last year’s election.

Aside from their refusal to cast out “woke” leftists who are reviled by all decent people, the Democrat brain trust has determined that the most pressing matter in America today is preventing the deportation of any of the millions of illegal aliens allowed to invade the country during the Biden administration, and considering the importance of illegals in their election fraud operations, it is of utmost importance to them.

But while championing vicious foreign thugs is one thing, it’s another thing entirely when the party is inviting its mentally ill followers to engage in violence against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol agents. Just in the last week, there have been two incidents that made national headlines where unarmed federal agents were ambushed by armed leftists after months of incendiary rhetoric from elected lawmakers, including leadership.

As the old Greek saying goes, a fish rots from the head down, and there is nothing more rotten with today’s Democratic Party than Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), both of whom have done zilch to condemn the activist base’s demand for “blood” as the resistance against Trump falters.

In fact, they have both fed into the fervor with a steady stream of their own inflammatory language and lies. Most recently was Schumer’s “depraved” blaming of Trump for dead children who were swept away by killer Texas floods.

Desperate for a leader who isn’t Jasmine Crockett, the Democrats are now coalescing around New York City mayor-in-waiting Zohran Mamdani, a Uganda-born Muslim “communist lunatic” who barring a miracle, is going to take control of the nation’s largest city in four months, and will emerge as his party’s most prominent national voice.

But by embracing Mamdani as their new anti-Trump gladiator, the Democrats are inadvertently playing right into the president’s hands as the radical leftist’s commie policy proposals will be an unmitigated disaster with the national spotlight shining brightly upon Gotham after he takes office, giving Trump and Republicans a potent midterm election year argument to make their case that Democrats are unfit to have power returned to them.

Their unhinged hatred of Trump and pathological need to burn down the country to oppose him have ironically made them into his greatest friends.
