Fox News host Harris Faulkner has touched off plenty of figurative fireworks in the first six months of 2025.
Faulkner, who hosts “The Faulkner Focus” and “Outnumbered” on weekdays, gave the Daily Caller News Foundation an exclusive interview that was published in three parts in May. Here are times when the set of the show erupted in a figuratively pyrotechnic display.

“Was it hard in the end to skew the truth?”
A week after President Donald Trump took the oath of office for his second term, former Biden administration official Meghan Hays appeared on the show to discuss the economy. Faulkner asked about the Biden administration’s constant touting of so-called “Bidenomics.”
“Was it hard in the end to skew the truth?” Faulkner asked Hays. “Like, it just really was confounding for people that the messaging out of the administration that you helped with messaging couldn’t get it right even about ‘Bidenomics’ not working for people.”

“You’re not rooting for America not to win, are you?”
Faulkner didn’t let former Democratic state Sen. David Caldwell of New York avoid answering if he was “rooting against” the United States after Caldwell claimed Republicans would “crash” the country.
“You’re not rooting for America not to win, are you?” Faulkner asked. “You’re not rooting against the country? Because that’s what it sounds like. Is that what you are doing?”
“No, absolutely not! The best jab-” Carlucci said before Faulkner cut him off, saying, “But you want the leader that the majority just elected to fail.”

When Democratic strategist Fred Hicks tried to pass off a deluge of profanity as normal, Faulkner didn’t hesitate to call him out.
“No, no, no, no, no!” Faulkner responded. “Did you hear the cussing?”
Hicks and Faulkner then engaged in a back-and-forth about conduct by Democrats, with Hicks bringing up Republicans’ reactions to the 2020 election.
“How is that anything like your party dismantling itself and cussing at the American public?” Faulkner asked Hicks. “They’re two different things!”
“They’re not cussing at the American public, they’re expressing frustration at what is happening,” Hicks replied, with Faulkner responding, “Please don’t excuse that bad behavior.”

“Does he want to start calling us colored people again?”
The day after former President Joe Biden delivered a speech in Chicago, Faulkner appeared shocked on air.
“President Biden spoke for about 30 minutes instead of the one hour he was booked for, that he was scheduled to speak and it came with some offensive words, weird whispers and a touch of hypocrisy,” Faulkner said before playing clips of the speech.
“So, does he want to start calling us colored people again?” Faulkner exclaimed after the cuts from the speech aired. “Oh my gosh, what a mess. This headline in reference to that last comment you just heard: ‘Biden lectures us to treat one another with dignity months after he labeled Trump voters as garbage.’”

“You can’t be snookered like that.”
Faulkner told the DCNF during her interview that there was much more to the story about Biden’s decline. When she questioned former Democratic Rep. Pat Murphy of Pennsylvania, though, he claimed that people around Biden were “too gracious” to address his reported decline.
“Look, this is politics,” Faulkner interjected. “It’s a blood sport. You’re a kind soul, but come on, do you think they were just trying to be nice and they weren’t-”
“No, I’m saying there were people in the inner circle in both parties that were-” Murphy said before Faulkner responded with, “You were in the military. I know you were a warrior. You can’t be snookered like that. You have to see the truth.”

“You live in a sanctuary state, okay?”
Faulkner has also called out resistance to efforts by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to take illegal immigrants into custody. During an episode of “Outnumbered,” Democratic strategist Leslie Marshall complained about the agency’s presence.
“What we’re upset about, we don’t have ICE going after the gangs. They know where they are,” Marshall claimed. “These gangs, they’re not washing dishes. They’re not at Home Depot. They’re certainly not the mother breast feeding the baby, the cancer victim and certainly not in the elementary schools or graduations. Those are the people –”
“Wait a minute, wait a minute,” Faulkner said. “You live in a sanctuary state, okay? So if ICE goes after the gangs, the LAPD has been told to back off, don’t help ICE.”
