J.D. Vance Hopes Musk Returns to MAGA Fold This Year [WATCH]

Vice President J.D. Vance says he hopes Elon Musk will rejoin the MAGA movement ahead of the upcoming midterm elections, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

In an exclusive interview with The Gateway Pundit founder Jim Hoft, Vance discussed Musk’s recent break with the Trump administration and his view that the Tesla and SpaceX CEO should align himself again with President Donald Trump and the broader America First agenda.

“He’s obviously got a complicated relationship right now with the Trump White House,” Vance said. “My argument to Elon is like, you’re not going to be on the left, right? Even if you wanted to be. And he doesn’t.”

“They’re not going to have you back. That ship has sailed. And so I really think it’s a mistake for him to try to break from the president,” Vance continued. “So my hope is that by the time of the midterms, he’s kind of come back into the fold.”

Vance added that he believes patriotism means standing with the president and the movement despite minor disagreements.

“If you’re patriotic, you’re not trying to stick your knife in the back of the president, you’re not trying to betray the movement, I don’t care about these minor little disagreements and issues,” he said.

Musk was a financial supporter of Trump’s presidential campaign, but tensions surfaced after the passage of what Trump called the “Big, Beautiful Bill.” Musk criticized the legislation, claiming it would worsen the national debt.

Following the dispute, Musk suggested he might launch a new political party called the “America Party.” However, reports last month indicated that despite extensive public discussion, he has not filed any paperwork to formally register the organization.

Vance’s comments come as speculation continues over whether Musk will reconcile with Trump before the midterms. While Musk has maintained influence in technology and business, his political alignment has been closely watched by both allies and critics.

Attorney General Pam Bondi and senior Trump administration officials have not commented publicly on the status of Musk’s relationship with the White House.
