Jasmine Crockett Says the Quiet Part Out Loud About ‘Mentally Deficient’ Joe Biden [WATCH]

In a recent interview on CBS News’ Eye on Politics, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) offered a notable defense of Joe Biden amid concerns over his cognitive health, even going so far as to admit she would still have supported Biden over Donald Trump—even if Biden were mentally impaired.

Crockett was asked by CBS’s Jack Fink to respond to Republican allegations that Democrats and the White House had misled the public about President Biden’s mental and physical decline.

Rather than denying the claims outright, Crockett shifted the conversation to partisan messaging, accusing Republicans of dominating the narrative.

“I think we did hurt ourselves,” Crockett said.

“I don’t think it’s for the reasons that you’re laying out, but I do think we hurt ourselves because what Democrats tend to do is the Republicans know how to create a, an ecosystem of commentary, whether it’s true or not.”

Crockett then claimed that in her own interactions with Biden, she had never witnessed signs of cognitive deterioration.

“I literally have had conversations with him not once, not twice, um, probably not even three times. Multiple times. And I never ever, ever felt like I saw anything that was decline,” she said.

However, she quickly added a caveat. “Does that mean that you’re not qualified, or does it mean that it is so detrimental that it’s causing harm? Absolutely not.”

Crockett acknowledged that aging could bring “a level of kind of fall off,” but maintained that Biden remained capable.

She continued, “Joe Biden, anybody know anything about him, they know foreign affairs is like his wheelhouse. And he was so on point.”

Crockett also claimed that global leaders respected Biden while reacting negatively to Trump. “They go off about Trump,” she added.

The most revealing moment came when Crockett addressed a hypothetical scenario in which Biden’s mental health was compromised.

“So let me tell you, if Joe Biden was like mentally, um, deficient in some way and he was still able to keep this sucker on the tracks, then give me a mentally deficient Joe Biden any given day over Donald Trump.”
