JD Vance Warns Transgender Groups Pushing Violence Will Be Treated Like Terrorists [WATCH]

Vice President J.D. Vance said movements that encourage violence against the United States government or American citizens should be treated as terrorist organizations, during an exchange with Fox News host Jesse Watters that focused on political extremism and left-wing radicalization.

The discussion centered on whether militant activism tied to gender ideology poses a domestic security threat and how the federal government should respond when political rhetoric escalates into calls for violence.

“The militant transgender movement, is that a domestic terrorist threat?” Watters asked.

Vance responded by drawing a clear distinction between speech and violence, saying any organization that urges physical attacks crosses into terrorism.

“If you are encouraging people to commit acts of violence against the United States government or against your fellow Americans, absolutely, you’re involved in a terrorist movement,” Vance said.

“I don’t know enough about that particular organization, but what you increasingly see Jesse is you see people in the trans community and other members of the far left who are saying they are so threatened by negative rhetoric that they must take arms and attack people.”

Vance said justifying violence based on disagreement with speech is both immoral and dangerous.

“If your movement is telling you to commit acts of violence against people for speaking words that you don’t like,” he said, “number one, you’re evil. And number two, you are engaged in a terrorist movement.”

He said the administration is actively working to dismantle networks that promote or finance political violence, describing the effort as a priority inside the White House.

“And that’s part of what we have to root out in the White House, and this is very important,” Vance said.

“Jesse talked to a lot of people about this. I talked to Stephen Miller probably seven times in the past two days.”

Vance said those discussions have focused on identifying and cutting off both funding streams and radicalization pipelines connected to left-wing violence.

“We are working very hard to ensure that the funding networks for left wing violence, that the radicalization networks for left wing violence, that if you encourage or fund your fellow Americans or anybody else to commit acts of violence because you disagree with political speech, you are going to be treated like a terrorist organization, and we’re going to go after you,” he said.

Watters responded by welcoming the administration’s approach and emphasized the importance of public accountability.

“I’m glad we have transparency,” Watters said.
