Jesse Watters asks RFK Jr’s wife, actress Cheryl Hines, if she sneaks snacks when he’s not looking

Actress Cheryl Hines opened up about her journey from Hollywood to Washington, D.C., where her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is focused on Making America Healthy Again.

Speaking with Fox News host Jesse Watters on Monday, the star of the HBO show “Curb Your Enthusiasm” spoke about the unexpected turns in the couple’s life since Kennedy announced his run for election. She also revealed which of them is more “MAHA.”

While she said being healthy is more about being a “lifestyle,”  and that she sees herself “as MAHA” as RFK Jr., the actress admitted she has hidden her snacking habits from her husband at times.

“I hide when I eat it because I don’t feel good about it,” she told Watters. “So when I want potato chips,  I’ll stand in the pantry when nobody’s looking.”

Describing the path to being part of a Republican administration, she explained how Kennedy, who left the Democratic Party of his family during his bid for the White House, found common ground with President Donald Trump.

“Suddenly, Bobby is in the middle of a Republican administration,” she said, noting the couple will sometimes “agree to disagree” when they don’t see eye to eye on an issue.

“I’m really proud that Bobby is the one leading the charge,” she said, noting Kennedy’s accomplishments as secretary of health and human services.

Hines also addressed the hostility of the press and even members of the Kennedy family to RFK Jr.’s decision to run for office and then join Trump in his administration. She also revealed that she is “very worried” about her husband’s safety.

“It can’t be, ‘because you don’t think like me, I hate you.’ That’s what it feels like sometimes,” she said, suggesting people need to engage more in conversations and try to understand different opinions.

Hines’ forthcoming memoir, “Unscripted,” is due out in November and is described on Amazon as an “inspiring, laugh-out-loud, and deeply moving memoir that showcases Cheryl’s ability to find grace and humor in every chapter of her life.”

“In her memoir, she delves into her personal life, revealing the challenges and joys of a blended family with her husband, activist lawyer and 2024 presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. She also opens up about her lifelong passion for advocacy, including her dedication to United Cerebral Palsy, inspired by her nephew Michael,” the description reads.
