Jessie J Hospitalized After Head Injury During Tour Stop in China [WATCH]

Singer Jessie J was taken to the hospital in Hangzhou, China, after hitting her head on the roof of a vehicle during her ongoing “No Secrets” Tour, prompting concerns about a possible neck injury, as reported by Page Six.

The 37-year-old artist, whose real name is Jessica Ellen Cornish, shared details of the incident in an Instagram video posted over the weekend.

The footage shows her climbing into the back of a minivan and striking her head after telling her team she didn’t “mind squashing in the back.”

The video then cuts to Jessie J undergoing an MRI scan at a hospital, where she sought medical evaluation following the incident.

“Yeah, I just can’t move my head. I’m alright, I’ll just have to take some painkillers and march right through it. I just wanna kinda run down the show,” she said in the clip while speaking to her crew during rehearsals.

She also addressed the severity of the moment, saying, “I thought I broke my neck, but I haven’t. But I have really hurt my neck and my back. Don’t say it.”

In the caption accompanying the video, the “Price Tag” singer wrote, “Hit my head, I should of minded squashing in the back.”

The incident occurred as Jessie J continued her international tour schedule, with performances taking place across multiple locations. Despite the injury, she indicated in the video that she intended to continue preparing for her show.

Fans responded to the post with messages of support.

One commenter wrote, “Bloody hell Jess, you’re a liability [aren’t] you babe! Hope your neck and back are feeling better, rest up where you can Xx.”

Another added, “Ouch, but what a show!” while a third wrote, “Feel better soon Jessie!”

The injury comes months after Jessie J publicly shared a major health development. In June 2025, she revealed via Instagram that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

At the time, she said, “Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding on to the word ‘early,’” and explained that she chose to share the diagnosis because of the support she has received from fans.

“You have loved me through all my good and hard times,” she said. “And I don’t want this to be any different.”

Jessie J later underwent a mastectomy following the diagnosis.

In addition to her recent health challenges, Jessie J welcomed her son, Sky, in May 2023.

The child, now 2, is shared with basketball player Chanan Colman, whom she has been in a relationship with since 2021. The singer previously experienced a miscarriage before the birth of her son.

No additional details have been released regarding her current condition following the MRI, and it is unclear whether the injury will impact her upcoming tour dates.
