Joy Behar Completely Melts Down Over Tapper’s Biden Book, Demands Donald Trump Be Targeted [WATCH]

The hosts of The View reacted angrily on Tuesday to the release of a new book detailing alleged efforts to conceal President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline during his time in office, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Co-authored by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson, the book titled Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again drew sharp criticism from the show’s panel — particularly from co-host Joy Behar.

The book, released Tuesday, explores concerns about Biden’s mental and physical fitness while in the White House and reports that top aides allegedly concealed the extent of his decline from the public.

Instead of addressing the book’s claims, Behar and her fellow panelists on The View turned their attention to Tapper, accusing him of political bias and using CNN to promote his book.

“All he is doing is hawking his book on CNN,” Behar said. “And he’s flanked by other people — Brian Stelter and Van Jones — also hawking his book. When did CNN become a place to hawk your book? Is Wolf Blitzer coming out with a cookbook?”

Co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin joined Behar in dismissing the book’s premise and instead shifted the focus back to former President Donald Trump. “Why is this even the conversation right now?” Behar asked. “What about Trump’s atrocities?”

The segment quickly devolved into a series of complaints about Trump, with little direct refutation of the book’s content. Behar listed off grievances related to the former president, arguing that the media should be focused on him instead of raising concerns about Biden.

The book has sparked renewed conversation in the media and among voters about Biden’s age, mental sharpness, and his decision to seek reelection.

According to Tapper and Thompson, numerous White House aides and Democratic Party insiders expressed deep concern behind closed doors, questioning Biden’s ability to continue serving in office.

Despite these revelations, the panel on The View seemed unwilling to entertain criticism of the current president, instead suggesting that the reporting was politically motivated or simply intended to generate book sales.
