Joy Reid, James Carville spread BS rumor Trump will illegally tamper with upcoming elections

Some Democrats are jumping on board a new conspiracy theory about President Donald Trump, fear-mongering about him refusing to leave office, and even rigging the midterms.

Social media reactions poured in after former MSNBC host Joy Reid and Democrat strategist James Carville added to the left’s projection, offering up their groundless alarms about the president and the ways he will allegedly interfere in next year’s midterm elections to keep Republicans in power.

Reid: Trump “intends to stay in office like Putin, until he dies.”

Carville: People who think Trump won’t postpone 2026 elections are “f*cking fools.”

“Whenever Democrats say to me … ‘we have to coalesce for 2026,’ I always add to the end of their sentence … ‘Yeah, assuming we actually have free and fair elections,’” Reid told Wajahat Ali on his substack The Left Hook.

“I think it’s insane, honestly, to just assume we’re going to have normal elections next year,” she added in a discussion about the Trump-backed “Big, Beautiful” budget bill.

“To me, the fact that Republicans are still voting for the bill tells me that they’re not actually worried about being reelected,” Reid continued. “The way Trump is behaving, he’s not acting like somebody who worries that his party will lose power or that even if the party, even if somehow we had normal elections and Democrats took control of either House … he’s not acting like somebody who’s worried about the consequences of that.”

“I don’t think Trump intends to leave office,” Reid said, claiming Trump is “behaving as an autocrat.”

“I’m very clear about that. I think he intends to stay in office like Putin till he dies,” she declared. “I think it’s going to take an extraordinary movement to get rid of him.”

Meanwhile, Carville expressed that those who think Trump will not find a way to postpone the 2026 elections are “f*cking fools.”

“They all look like f*cking fools. Because that’s what these people are, gigantic, colossal fools. They actually think this whole thing is legit. We know better,” the Democratic consultant said on the “Politics War Room” podcast.

“Be ever vigilant and watch because we’re going to win in Virginia. We’re going to win in New Jersey. We’re going to win by a lot. The polls are going to come in. They’re going to be way behind. He knows what’s coming. He’s going to try to do anything he can to squirm out of taking responsibility,” he claimed.

“It’s worse than an abyss. It’s worse than a morass. It’s giant, massive criminality at the head of the United States government,” Carville ranted.

Social media users delivered their verdict following the leftists’ latest conspiracy theories and display of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Talk about projection. The DNC has TWICE railroaded their nominee, initiated mail-in balloting, and attempted to imprison their front running opponent not once, but several times.

This is serious projection. Democrats have cheated in every major election for decades and will continue to moving forward.

They have no positive policies to promote so they just cheat.
