Joy Reid’s ‘3000 brown person a day’ deportation quota is a total lie

Joy Reid may no longer be with MSNBC, but that doesn’t mean she’s done lashing out at President Donald Trump’s administration.

From what appears to be the floor of her living room, Reid ranted and raved about Stephen Miller. She even accused him of instituting a “3000 brown person a day” deportation quota, which is a serious spin on what he actually said to Fox News’s Sean Hannity.

Watch:

“But this aggressive move to deport any brown or black person that this regime can get their hands on in order to meet Stephen Miller’s 3000 brown-person-a-day quota – they have a literal quota that ICE is required to meet – which is the reason they are stopping and frisking brown, particularly brown people but brown and and black people anywhere they can get them,” Reid said, eager to include herself in the class of people she sees as victims. “Dodger Stadium, the parking lot at Disney Land, at restaurants, Home Depots, anywhere they can get them.”

This is a (potentially intentional) misinterpretation of Miller’s words. As BizPac Review previously reported, here’s what was actually said:

“Under President Trump’s leadership, we are looking to set a goal of a minimum of 3,000 arrests for ICE every day, and President Trump is going to keep pushing to get that number up higher each and every single day, so we can get all of the Biden illegals that were flooded into our country for four years out of our country.”

A far cry from a “brown person” deportation quota, but you won’t catch Reid making any corrections.
