Junior doctors will go on strike from Friday 14th November until Wednesday 19th November. BMA doctors said today:
“Thanks to our successful FY1 ballot, we are now calling on the Government to address both the erosion to our pay and the speciality training crisis. We’ve made clear these issues must be addressed together, but the Government has refused our negotiating proposals on pay. As a result, our committee has voted to take strike action over pay and jobs in England. Resident doctors will be going on strike from 7.00am on 14 November to 6.59am on 19 November.”
