Ofcom CEO Melanie Dawes swiftly stepped in, though, to remind the Labour MP “how the rules work” and that it is “incredibly important” for the regulators to protect “freedom of expression and the freedom of the broadcaster to innovate.” Dawes also pointed out that GB News’ compliance record “has been significantly improved.” This follows the High Court’s ruling to overturn two breaches that Ofcom accused GB News of in their judicial review claim…
