Latinas for Trump co-founder savaged after slamming deportation tactics, turns off comments

The co-founder of the group Latinas for Trump has now come out against the methods used to deport the illegal aliens who were allowed to invade the country during the Biden administration, a central issue that President Donald J. Trump campaigned on.

As Democrats, their judges, street mobs and the media dig in to prevent the reversal of the invasion that was allowed to take place unabated for four years, the open borders party has found an unexpected ally in Republican Florida State Sen. Ileana Garcia who decried the deportation efforts as “unacceptable and inhumane” in a rebuke of the president.

“This is not what we voted for,” Garcia wrote in a post to X, sharing a statement from fellow Sunshine State GOP lawmaker Rep. María Elvira Salazar in which she criticized some tactics used in South Florida, including making arrests in immigration court. “I have always supported Trump, @realDonaldTrump, through thick and thin. However, this is unacceptable and inhumane.”

“I understand the importance of deporting criminal aliens, but what we are witnessing are arbitrary measures to hunt down people who are complying with their immigration hearings—in many cases, with credible fear of persecution claims—all driven by a Miller-like desire to satisfy a self-fabricated deportation goal,” she added, referring to White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, an illegal immigration hawk.

“This undermines the sense of fairness and justice that the American people value,” she wrote.

After throwing Trump under the bus, Garcia did a Hillary Clinton and shut off her replies, and it’s easy to see why because she was savaged by critics, mostly by the very leftists that she took sides with.

Garcia was recently in the news when she nearly passed out during a press conference hosted by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis last month.

“I will not back down. I am committed to being vocal and proactive in seeking real solutions, not engaging in grandstanding like Stephen Miller,” the Latinas for Trump co-founder told the Miami Herald in a text message.

“While I stand by my support for him, I will call out harmful actions when necessary,” Garcia said in another text, according to the paper. “And finally, this isn’t about regrets; I have none. It’s about addressing issues directly and taking responsibility,”

“President Trump is fulfilling his promise to deport illegal aliens, and the American people are grateful,” White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson said in a statement.
