The total legal bill for the Afghan super-injunction numbers almost £2.5 million. All to hide the truth for two years…

Information obtained via FoI shows that the Government Legal Department’s lawyer fees in relation to the super-injunction from August 2023 to 15 July 2025 were:

• Time and Charges Inc. VAT: £1,816,288.62
• Disbursements Inc. VAT: £598,624.68
• Total Billed Inc. VAT: £2,414,913.30

Add that to the £850 million bill for the secret ARR resettlement scheme. And the £6 billion tab for the others…
