Liberals complain that Washington DC is too safe in totally confusing post

Leftists will literally grab onto any and every little thing they can to complain about President Donald Trump, and this post proves it.

Eric Daugherty shared a post of someone complaining that Trump’s anti-crime measures in Washington D.C. were too effective, and it reads like the dumbest attempt at satire you’ll ever witness.

Look:

“It’s difficult to describe what it’s like in DC rn (right now) without sounding crazy. The National Guard was patrolling at Lincoln Park today. All carrying weapons on a Sunday afternoon in park full of families, kids on scooters, dog walkers, kids drawing with sidewalk chalk,” the post reads. “Not great tbh.”

The poster fails to understand that the picture they paint is not very different than the presence of police officers, who also carry firearms, in the interest of keeping families safe. The absence of the threat of force is what emboldens those who wish to victimize others, allowing them to take advantage of good, innocent people without fear of repercussions.

The National Guard were deployed by Trump to supplement the actions of local police, who were having a difficult time keeping up with the spike in crime that D.C. had been experiencing, and they have been so effective in their mission that families finally feel comfortable taking their kids to experience those areas. This should be a good thing, but naturally there are those who just can’t give the president credit, no matter what.

X, however, didn’t have this problem:
