Libs Savagely Mock Hulk Hogan After Death, Sparking Backlash

Left-leaning users abandoned mourning in favor of criticism and condemnation hours after Hulk Hogan’s death was announced.

The wrestling world was in mourning, but not everyone joined the tribute. Within hours, the tone on social media turned sharply. Instead of honoring the passing of an American icon, some chose to rehash old controversies and level personal attacks. For many fans, it was a jarring and disheartening spectacle. The immediate politicization of Hogan’s death felt like a sad reflection of the times.

“I USED to love hulk too, back in the day. Once I learned he was racist, it faded away in an instant. Very easy. Fuck him,” one internet user wrote .

“Onie more trumpie dow many coming soon,” another person said on X.

Other hateful comments included, “Don’t let ya wrestling nostalgia make you forget that Hulk was a racist, union busting, boot licker,” and the spiteful message shared on X that read, “As a former Gawker writer (as are all Gawker writers thanks to Hulk Hogan), I won’t be the first or the last to say ‘fuck that guy.’ Dance on any grave you want to, but this one’s mine.”

A spite-filled social media user replied to JD Vance’s heartfelt tribute to the Hulk by writing, “Hulk was a racist, a homophobe and a real MAGA dickhead Trump ass tonguer!”

Hogan was more than just a wrestling legend. He was a towering figure in pop culture whose presence shaped decades of entertainment. His legacy was marred in later years by a racism scandal and legal battles, giving critics fresh ammunition in death.

The hateful commentators that chose to vilify him on the day of his death are heartless, tone-deaf and cruel. (RELATED: Liberals Launch Savage Verbal Attack Against Ozzy Osbourne Immediately After His Death)

Despite the backlash, Hogan’s loyal fans responded with a tidal wave of love and admiration—drowning out the hatred with a passion far louder and more enduring than the critics’ disdain. Loving tributes poured in from fellow wrestlers, actors, and fans around the world, reminding even the loudest haters that Hogan was a symbol of ‘80s American culture and larger-than-life charisma.
