LOFTUS: The Big Lie Just Got Much, Much Worse

Joe Biden’s big lie just got much, much worse.

We know the White House and liberal media apparatchiks covered up and lied about the former president’s mental decline for nearly the entire duration of his first term. Between the obvious mental lapses, gaffes, and stumbles, Americans could see the naked truth, even as pundits and Biden allies alike told them the opposite. White House aides were even considering putting Biden in a wheelchair if he had to serve another four years, according to Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson’s new book, “Original Sin” (the release of which is certainly not ideal). Yet Biden’s sudden and shocking cancer diagnosis Sunday night threatens to make the big lie an even more appalling display of cynicism, as it begs the question that there was another full-on cover-up right before our eyes.

To anyone, it’s painfully obvious, but even several doctors told the Daily Caller that there is something dubious about Biden’s diagnosis, considering its stage.

“It’s not credible that we are hearing of his metastatic disease for the first time because he was having difficulty urinating and they found it. That just doesn’t track,” Dr. Steven Quay, a member of the American Association for Cancer Research, told the Caller. (RELATED: Biden’s Sudden Cancer Diagnosis Just Doesn’t Add Up, Doctors Say)

Dr. Chris George, the medical director of the cancer program for the Northwestern Health Network, also explained to Reuters why Biden’s diagnosis seems “odd.”

“I would assume that the former president gets a very thorough physical every year. One of the best screening tools that we have to detect cancer is called the PSA. That’s a blood test that looks for cancer. I would be interested to know what his PSA was the last time it was checked,” George said.

“It’s sort of hard for me to believe that he’s had a PSA within the past year, that was normal. It’s possible. It’s definitely possible, but that would surprise me … Usually prostate cancer doesn’t, you know, go full throttle like this too often. When it does, that’s usually a bad, bad sign. That’s an aggressive cancer for sure. But it does seem odd to me. I agree,” he continued.

After the first years-long cover-up, why would anyone believe this is the first time he and his family are aware of this illness? How long has he been receiving treatments? Who else knew about it? If he had never dropped out in July of 2024, would the American people ever have found out about his cancer diagnosis until the day he passed away?

Biden’s mental decline and now his cancer diagnosis are tragic. All the more so, because the Democratic Party, White House officials, and even his wife, Jill Biden, propped him up for years for political gain, repeatedly lying about his mental and physical health so that they could cling to power as long as possible. Even Democratic South Carolina Rep. James Clyburn, Biden’s longtime friend and ally, claimed Sunday before the diagnosis that Biden would have been fit to serve for a second term.

Americans should hope and pray for Biden in the wake of his diagnosis, and they also hope and pray that there was not a second cover-up. The first cover-up is bad enough; a second is beyond the pale.
