Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night, indeed!
Christmas Day is now a little more than a week away, and a pair of NHL teams are embracing the festive spirit by delivering one of the most memorable contrasts in hockey history — pairing an intense on-ice brawl with perfectly mismatched holiday music that has to have The Grinch smiling hard.
The Boston Bruins welcomed the Utah Mammoth to TD Garden in a Tuesday night contest, but the visitors received anything but a warm holiday greeting in Beantown. The home team dominated the matchup, securing a decisive 4-1 victory that positioned the Bruins just one point behind the top spot in the Atlantic Division. With that being said, the Mammoth did put up a fight, but not in the game, they did it literally.
And here’s where things really got cooking: While the fight was going on, “Feliz Navidad” by José Feliciano was blasting in the background.
Just an absolutely classic scene.

Ahh … how can you not love Christmas time? And by the way, have y’all cranked out Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” yet?
I was listening to that earlier, and it’s such a banger.
As a matter of fact, we need to see a brawl over that. I could picture the scene being even more iconic than “Feliz Navidad.”
