A man wanted in connection with a quadruple homicide in Tennessee previously spent time living the high life in prison.
Suspect Austin Drummond, 28, served 13 years in a Tennessee state prison after he was convicted of aggravated robbery and retaliation, according to Fox News.
“Pictures posted to Drummond’s Facebook [during his time behind bars] show that he had a Roku, [a] handheld video game device, at least one cell phone, and a pantry filled with food,” Fox News notes.
In one photo, he was even seen holding up a bottle of Ciroc Vodka:
@TNTDOC1 has some explaining to do. How did Austin Robert Drummond have booze in prison? Word is the warden openly allows alcohol and drugs in the prison. And now we know his girlfriend (and sister of one of the victims) is a corrections officer. pic.twitter.com/0vBflfJS1z

“Ciroc….. almost home living it up till I get there,” he wrote as a caption on the Nov. 18, 2023, photo.
Speaking with Fox News, former NYPD detective and security expert Pat Brosnan said it’s clear that the prison’s warden didn’t do his job correctly.
“I think there was a measure of both irresponsibility, neglect, and probably some recklessness as well in relation to not just the wardens, but the senior management staff, the captains, the deputy warden, the lieutenants,” Brosnan said.
“But the reality is they’re supposed to have very frequent checks of the cells. They call them shakedowns. They shake down and make sure there’s no drugs in there or any contraband. That’s part of their policy and protocol in the state prison system, as well as the federal prison system,” he added.
Brosnan also said that it’s “absolutely” possible that Drummond knew one of the prison workers personally, which might explain how he managed to get access to so much contraband.
While it’s not clear when exactly he was released, Drummond was definitely on bond in relation to an attempted murder charge when the quadruple homicide occurred last week.
“The attempted murder charge was filed in Dec. 2024, but officials said the alleged crime occurred while Drummond was still in prison,” Fox News notes.
Returning to the present, Drummond is wanted for the murders of James M. Wilson, 21, Adrianna Williams, 20, Cortney Rose, 38, and Braydon Williams, 15.
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents have already obtained warrants charging him with four counts of First Degree Murder, one count of Aggravated Kidnapping, four counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and one count of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.

It’s believed the murders occurred on Tuesday, July 29.
The investigation into the murders began after a baby was found in a car seat in someone’s front yard, according to CNN.
“Investigators, spurred by a 911 caller who saw the child, were checking reports that a ‘dark-colored minivan or a white mid-size SUV’ had left the baby there,” CNN notes.
Hours later, the four deceased were found nearby and identified as the parents, grandmother, and uncle of the child.
The police have yet to explain how they were killed, how they were found, and what they were found in.
As of Tuesday, July 5, Drummond remained on the loose, but three other individuals linked to him had been arrested.
“Three people have been arrested in connection with the murders of the parents, grandmother, and uncle of an infant found alive in Tennessee, as a manhunt for the suspected killer continues,” CBS News confirmed.
All three — Dearrah Sanders, 23, Tanaka Brown, 29, and Giovonte Thomas, 29 — have been charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder.
NEW: TBI just arrested a THIRD person for allegedly helping Austin Drummond. He is still on the run.
