Marco Rubio Cooks Everyone Who is Shocked by What Trump is Doing [WATCH]

Marco Rubio said President Donald Trump is carrying out one of the most fundamental responsibilities of the presidency by actively confronting threats to the United States, including terrorism, economic dangers, and criminal organizations such as drug cartels.

Rubio said the focus of the administration’s actions is not abstract political theory but the national interest of the United States and the protection of the American people.

“Focus on regime this and this that the goal here is very simple, the national interest of the United States,” Rubio said.

“The President United States was elected to protect the American people, to protect America. That’s what he was elected to do.”

Rubio said protecting the country was a core promise Trump made when he was elected and that it included addressing multiple forms of threats facing the nation.

“It’s one of his fundamental promises that Donald J Trump made when he was elected president United States, is I am going to protect this country, protect us from what? From the threat of terrorism, from threats to our economy and from threats these drug organizations and the terrorist organizations pose against the United States,” Rubio said.

According to Rubio, Trump has made it clear that countries or groups that cooperate with or enable activities threatening the United States will face consequences.

“And if you are an ally, a friend, a partner, or cooperate or participate in activities that threaten the United States, you’re going to have a problem with President Trump,” Rubio said.

Rubio said the reaction to Trump’s actions against drug cartels reflects a broader pattern in politics, where candidates frequently make promises but fail to act once in office.

“I think the only shocking thing here is that a lot of people say that people run all the time for office. I’m going to take on the cartels,” Rubio said.

He said Trump’s actions stand out because they align directly with what he pledged during his campaign.

“I’m going to do is he’s actually doing it,” Rubio said. “He’s not doing anything. He didn’t say he was not going to do during this campaign.”

Rubio said Trump has been consistent about his intentions and is now following through.

“He said he was going to go after the cartels, and now he’s going after the cartels,” Rubio said.

Rubio added that the public reaction should not be surprise but recognition of a president who follows through on his commitments.

“And everybody’s shocked. Everybody’s Don’t be shocked,” Rubio said. “This is a man who was elected president because he says, and then he does. He doesn’t just say and then forget about it.”

Rubio said Trump’s actions reflect his understanding of the presidency as a position defined by responsibility and execution, not rhetoric, and that confronting criminal and terrorist organizations is a central part of protecting the country.
