Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) upset their fans after revealing the new “Black Panther” is apparently white, according to a new series from Marvel Comics.
The MCU introduced a new Black Panther in “Marvel Knights: The World to Come #1,” and the character’s identity appears to feature a shocking twist.
The six-issue comic book series is set in the MCU’s future, and after defeating T’Challa in battle, Ketema removes his mask — revealing a young white man with blonde hair and blue eyes, according to images obtained by the Bleeding Cool.
The comic debuted Wednesday, according to the outlet.
Fans were quick to lash-out against the reimagined legacy of Black Panther, making it clear that this is not a change they will embrace with open arms.
