Megyn Kelly destroys Kamala Harris’ bizarre claim of babies being passed around at her rallies

Former Vice President Kamala Harris was mercilessly roasted by Megyn Kelly over bizarre claims that people would “pass” babies to her on the campaign trail.

It started when Harris sat down with the “House Guest” podcast as she promotes her new book, “107 Days,” about her failed 2024 presidential run. During the interview, she regaled the host with a tale about people passing their babies up through the rally crowds to her. Apparently, it was a “magical” moment that proved people will trust total strangers with “children of the community.”

“You know, one of my favorite things to see — and it would always happen spontaneously at our rallies … invariably somebody would want me to take a picture or to hug their child. And someone in the back would hand that baby over through the crowd … pass the baby and then pass the baby back! Pass the baby back. And I don’t know, there was something about that when it would happen. I mean, I could get very emotional about it right now,” she said.

“But you know, I believe that we should always feel that the children of the community are the children of the community. Of all of us … and that we all participate in caring about that child,” she continued in a bout of word salad. “And in caring for that child.  And there was just something about that … the parent trusted the stranger that was next to them, who trusted the next person and all of them as though it was their own child. There was something so magical in many ways about that, and about affirming that you can create an environment where people feel safe and feel a sense of communal responsibility and community.”

Kelly couldn’t believe that anyone would be “foolish and stupid” enough to do something like that:

“Honestly, what idiot would hand their infant child through a crowd of people in the hopes that Kamala Harris would then touch it or bless it or kiss it? That is absolutely foolish and stupid!” Kelly exclaimed. “This might be a Kamala invention.”

I think she got the idea from the abomination of the withdrawal from Afghanistan when the poor mother handed her baby through the crowd to the US soldiers so they could bring it to safety here in the US. That’s where I think that fairytale came to Kamala!
