Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly signed a multi-year deal with SiriusXM that will include launching a channel, the satellite radio company announced Thursday.
The Megyn Kelly Channel will launch on Nov. 4 and will air on the network’s Channel 111, the company said in a press release. Kelly previously had launched her own network of podcasts, featuring shows by Mark Halperin, Emily Jashinsky and Link Lauren, while also expanding into true crime and legal analysis.
“Linear television news is dead. People can’t stand those stilted, censored conversations anymore, which is exactly why this medium is thriving. I’m thrilled to deliver our bold brand of no-BS news live on SiriusXM and to be expanding my relationship with such a stellar, blue-chip brand and great partner,” Kelly said in the release. “Soon our listeners will have the Megyn Kelly Channel to enjoy and trust for the conversations and content they love.”
Kelly left Fox News in January 2017 to host a daytime news show and a Sunday night program, according to a release from NBC. She departed the network in October 2018 after comments about Halloween costumes and blackface.
Kelly recently launched a 15-minute morning podcast, “AM Update with Megyn Kelly,” while “The Megyn Kelly Show” airs in the afternoon from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Eastern time.
Kelly endorsed President Donald Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign, citing child sex changes as her rationale during an interview on “Real Time with Bill Maher” in October 2024. During the 2016 campaign, Kelly, then a host with Fox News, and Trump clashed after she asked him about his treatment of women during a Republican primary debate.
The network announced that Sirius Triumph, previously on Channel 111, would move to Channel 123.
