Megyn Kelly rips Michelle O for ‘talking sh*t about her partner,’ says Obamas ‘married the wrong people’

Following the rumors regarding the marriage of former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama, podcaster Megyn Kelly says she thinks the former first couple “married the wrong people.”

Michelle Obama has been pursuing interests independent of her husband, even going so far as to miss both former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral and President Donald Trump’s inauguration. Speaking to “Work in Progress” podcast host Sophia Bush, the former first lady doused rumors that a divorce is imminent. Instead, she said, she’s just chosen to do what is “best” for her.

But Kelly sees things a different way:

The clip starts out with a segment from Obama’s own podcast, with her weighing the pros and cons of a long-term marriage.

“If the odds were you’re going to be married to your partner for 50 years and 10 of those years could be bad, you know?” she said. “You’d sign up for it, you know? And that’s really how it works out.”

Kelly then questioned the logic of that argument.

“Is it, Michelle? I’ve been married for 17 and a half years and not one was bad. I think she and he married the wrong people,” the podcaster suggested.

Not everyone is lucky enough to find a good mate. I’m glad Megyn was…but she should show some grace to those who were not. What’s the solution? Leave the partner? But divorce is ‘bad’. Stay together? But live in agony? Again…be thankful if you found a good one!
