Megyn Kelly Unloads on Michelle Obama and The Women on Bezos ‘Sexual Fantasy Rocket’ [WATCH]

Media host Megyn Kelly sharply criticized former First Lady Michelle Obama’s recent remarks on marriage and later tore into the all-female Blue Origin spaceflight crew in a series of blunt takedowns during episodes of The Megyn Kelly Show.

During an April 17 broadcast, Kelly responded to a clip from Michelle Obama’s latest “The Light Podcast,” where the former First Lady addressed longstanding rumors about her marriage to Barack Obama.

The Obamas have faced ongoing speculation, which resurfaced following Michelle’s absence from key public events, including President Jimmy Carter’s funeral and President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Michelle Obama, 60, said on her podcast, “I tell people — and folks think this is harsh — it’s, like, ‘You’re gonna have a bad decade.’ I mean, I’ve been married to my husband for 30-plus years… If the odds were you’re going to be married to your partner for 50 years and 10 of those years could be bad, you’d sign up for it. You know, and that’s really how it works out.”

Kelly, 54, was quick to push back on that framing.

“Is it, Michelle? It’s not,” Kelly said.

“I think she and he married the wrong people.”

Kelly then reflected on her own marriage to author Douglas Brunt, saying, “I’ve been married for 17 and a half years and not one was bad.”

Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan joined Kelly on the show and also dismissed Obama’s comments, saying, “I can’t think of anybody I would go to for advice less than Michelle Obama. She really doesn’t know what she’s talking about.”

Michelle Obama addressed the public speculation surrounding her marriage in the podcast, saying, “That’s the thing that we as women, I think we struggle with — disappointing people. I mean, so much so that this year people were… they couldn’t even fathom that I was making a choice for myself that they had to assume that my husband and I are divorcing.”

Michelle had previously stated there were “10 years where I couldn’t stand my husband.”

Former President Barack Obama has also commented in past interviews about the strain his presidency placed on their marriage, including the toll of two terms in office.

The couple has also dismissed tabloid rumors linking Barack Obama to actress Jennifer Aniston.

Later in the same week, Kelly shifted her focus to the recent Blue Origin suborbital flight led by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

The 11-minute flight included singer Katy Perry, CBS host Gayle King, and Bezos’ fiancée Lauren Sanchez.

The launch, which garnered widespread attention, also drew criticism, particularly over the celebratory tone taken by the passengers.

On her show, Kelly referred to the New Shepard rocket as “Jeff Bezos’ sexual fantasy rocket” and mocked the participants’ post-flight remarks.

“The ladies of the Blue Origin mission, they’re talking about it like it was Apollo 11. They think they’re Neil Armstrong,” Kelly said.

She criticized Gayle King and the rest of the crew for comparing themselves to real astronauts like Alan Shepard, saying, “You didn’t walk on the moon… It wasn’t for commercial gain. It wasn’t to promote Amazon.”

Gayle King, in a follow-up interview, pushed back on the criticism, stating, “There was nothing frivolous about what we did… It’s called a flight or a journey.”

Kelly was unmoved. “If you don’t want people to think it’s frivolous, Gayle, then don’t have the Kardashians craft-side as you take off,” she said.

Kelly continued, “You are there on a vanity project of Jeff Bezos and his fiancée. You’ve done absolutely nothing to deserve this. You’re sitting next to Katy Perry.”

The former Fox News and NBC host has continued to use her independent platform to critique public figures and media coverage surrounding high-profile events.

Neither the Obamas nor Blue Origin have responded to Kelly’s recent comments.
