Missing minute of jail footage from the night of Jeffrey Epstein’s death has been released in dump

The missing minute of correctional center footage from the night of Jeffrey Epstein’s death has been released.

The controversial video from outside Epstein’s Metropolitan Correctional Center cell is part of a 34,000-file dump courtesy of the House Oversight Committee. It depicts the previously missing minute of footage between 11:58:59 on August 9, 2019, to midnight on August 10, 2019, the night of Epstein’s death. Metadata from the previously released video noted that the footage had been spliced together using Adobe Premiere Pro, leading many critics to believe that a cover-up was afoot.

“The new drop from the House committee shows the camera data switched at about midnight, leading to a necessary binding of the two clips for a consecutive video,” Fox News reported. “Fox News Digital combined the two clips after the latest release on Tuesday, showing there was indeed no lapse in footage—contradicting Attorney General Pam Bondi’s previous explanation that the last minute of footage is deleted every night.”

“What we learned from the Bureau of Prisons was every night the video is reset, and every night should have the same minute missing,” Bondi previously explained of the missing footage.

While the footage fails to provide a “smoking gun” moment proving critics right, it has led to questions about the accuracy of the DOJ’s statement of events from that night.

Unfortunately when we all thought Trump 2.0 was a change agent for our broken government system, he’s actually just perpetuating the worst parts of that system.”
