Moose Chases Grizzly Bear After It Tries To Eat Its Calves In Wild Video

Never mess with an animal’s babies, even if you’re a grizzly bear.

Coming out of Chugiak, Alaska, an absolutely wild video puts one hell of a spotlight on a mother moose chasing after a young grizzly bear that was looking to make one of her calves a nice meal. Most likely in an attempt to separate the calves, the grizzly had been tailing the moose and her babies. That was until mama got tired of it. Sprinting at full force, the moose turned around and darted at the grizzly, and the bear clearly wanted no part of mama as it took off running. In the crazy footage I have for you today, you can see the moose taking care of business before going back to her calves.

The views are truly remarkable.

Here at the Daily Caller, we like to make fun of Canadians. Well, at least I do. But honestly, covering animals and nature the way I do, Canada’s wildlife is no slouch. I know this video was from Alaska, but I can’t help but to give Canada some credit here. I mean, damn, a fight between a moose and grizzly bear can break out at any minute in a nation full of softies, it’s crazy!

I still prefer Florida though, where you can see an alligator and crocodile fight it out for supremacy before getting rocked by a hurricane three days later. Speaking of the Sunshine State, did you guys see the incredible lightning from Friday night?
