Morning anchor attempts pull-up, ends up falling flat on her face on live television

A FOX 5 anchor’s pull-up attempt resulted in her falling flat on her face on live television.

The accidental spill turned into a masterclass on handling embarrassing moments with grace when Good Day New York host Rosanna Scotto fell out of her shoes after doing some pull-ups.

Celebrity personal trainer Kenny Santucci was visiting the show, helping Scotto pull off four pull-ups before she surprised everyone by taking a tumble. But she quickly brushed off the moment with laughter.

“You okay?” asked co-host Curt Menefee.

“Kenny, what kind of insurance do you have?” he asked the trainer.

“Uh, not very good,” Santucci joked back.

“Kenny! Why didn’t you tell me!” Scotto exclaimed, smiling.

“She fell right out of her shoes!” the celebrity trainer pointed out.

When she isn’t doing pull-ups, Scotto can be seen interviewing the likes of Zohran Mamdani and Curtis Sliwa, who joined Good Day New York to react to current New York City Mayor Eric Adams dropping out of the mayoral race.

“I don’t contest his diagnosis of the problems that this city is facing,” Mamdani said of Adams. “He was saying our next mayor needs to be focused on lowering costs, on improving quality of life, on keeping the city safe – and that is at the heart of this campaign. I think what I contest is the delivery of those things over these last four years.”

“We’ve seen rents being raised, we’ve seen buses being slowed down, we’ve seen the inability to deliver on his promise of safety and justice being intertwined. And we know that Eric Adams’ record is Andrew Cuomo’s agenda.”

“I’m not sitting shiva for Eric Adams, he should have been in jail with Bobby Menedez,” Sliwa noted. “He was a crook, and it was the president who saved him.”
