An angry Neil Young took his disdain for Elon Musk to a musical level, unveiling a new song trashing the billionaire and his Tesla electric vehicles.
The 79-year-old musician was slammed as a “bitter old liberal” after taking aim at Musk during a Light Up the Blues charity concert in Los Angeles over the weekend. The “Rockin’ in the Free World” and “Heart of Gold” singer debuted his new song titled “Let’s Roll Again,” according to the Daily Beast.
“Come on Ford/Come on GM/Come on Chrysler/Let’s roll again,” Young sang with his new band, the Chrome Hearts, as seen from various clips shared from the event at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. “Build something special that people need/Build us a safe way for us to meet/Build us something that won’t kill our kids/Runs real clean.”

“If you’re a fascist, get a Tesla / It’s electric, it doesn’t matter / If you’re a Democrat, taste your freedom / Get whatever you want, taste your freedom,” Young continued.
“Come on America/Let’s get in the race/Now China’s winning/They’re making clean cars,” the Canadian rocker sang. “Over in China/They’re way ahead/That’s hard to swallow.”
Neil Young has lost the plot. His new song, attacking Tesla and anyone who drives them, has the lyrics: “Come on Ford, come on GM. Come on Chrysler, let’s roll again. China’s way ahead, they’re making clean cars. If you’re a fascist, get a Tesla. It’s electric, it doesn’t… pic.twitter.com/2iU8RPk59l

Long a critic of President Donald Trump, Young also performed last month at a “Fighting Oligarchy” rally with socialist lawmakers Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
“When I go to play music in Europe, if I talk about Donald J. Trump, I may be one of those returning to America who is barred or put in jail to sleep on a cement floor with an aluminum blanket,” Young claimed on his website last month.
“That is happening all the time now. Countries have new advice for those returning to America. You can read about it at the CANADA Desk. If I come back from Europe and am barred, can’t play my USA tour, all of the folks who bought tickets will not be able to come to a concert by me,” he wrote.
“That’s right, folks, if you say anything bad about Trump or his administration, you may be barred from re-entering the USA. If you are Canadian. If you are a dual citizen like me, who knows? We’ll all find that out together,” he added.
On social media, X users slammed the aging singer for his latest musical rant against Musk.
“Just another bitter old liberal crying for attention,” one MAGA Trump supporter wrote.
Neil Young, always on the wrong side.

Tesla is the most American made automobile in the world. Whats his point? He doesn’t even know.

Great music unifies our souls. That song was the opposite.
