In a perplexing piece of news out of Argentina, numerous large lines that formed a “crop doodle” were discovered recently in a wheat field.
According to local news outlet ELONCE, the situation became public after farmer Raúl Zamer was notified about the strange drawings on the Avellaneda property that he rents.
When he received and watched footage of the lines that he got from the property owner, he was originally suspicious that a motorcyclist had driven around the wheat field. With that being said, his thinking quickly changed when he took a visit to the field, noticing multiple strange details that suggested unusual activity. Zamer pointed out that the impacted wheat was “completely shelled” in a fashion that doesn’t happen if it’s pressed down on by someone or something. The farmer also said that the doodle’s size and nature makes his motorcyclist theory hard to believe, per ELONCE.

“It is impossible to run over a stubble of wheat and do something with that perfection,” Zamer told media outlet Cadena 3 Argentina, citing the experts that he consulted regarding the crop doodle.
The confused farmer also said there weren’t any signs of activity from humans or animals that could have caused the odd designs.
Zamer went on to tell local news outlet El Litoral that “some say that it is a letter R, by Raúl, and that below there is like a boy or a circle. Others talk about rare phenomena or waves. I honestly don’t know what to think. I just know that it’s something very precise, impossible to do with a motorcycle or a dragged iron.”
